Past

My name is Charles. I’ve had a lot of different interests over time, most of them online — from building websites to recreating Squid Game in Minecraft.

Online, I go by the pseudonym PiProgrammer. I came up with the name when I made my first Minecraft account at around nine years old. I was really into the number π (3.14159), and I was also starting to learn programming, so I combined the two. It just stuck.

I started developing my YouTube channel in 2024, but the groundwork was laid much earlier. Back in 2020, I got really into redstone and command blocks, building more and more complex Minecraft projects. Over time, YouTube became a way to document and share them.

What started as simple builds gradually turned into full recreations of films and trailers. I’ve built a working house printer, Tic Tac Toe, and even made a teaser for A Minecraft Movie.

Now

The channel is currently moving away from technical Minecraft content and toward more cinematic and story-focused projects.

What originally started with redstone and command block creations has gradually evolved into recreations, trailers, experimental scenes, and larger cinematic ideas built inside Minecraft. The focus now is less on tutorials or isolated technical builds, and more on atmosphere, editing, storytelling, and creating projects that feel more immersive overall.

Alongside the main channel, I’ve also been experimenting with more casual SMP-style content with friends — treating it as a separate space for gameplay, ideas, and smaller projects without the pressure of large cinematic releases every time.

Future

Looking forward, the goal is to push Minecraft beyond its usual limits and explore it as a creative medium rather than just a game.

Future projects will focus more on cinematic storytelling, worldbuilding, atmosphere, and eventually larger film-style productions using Minecraft environments alongside newer creative tools, including AI-assisted characters and visual systems.

The long-term direction is to create slower, higher-quality projects that feel more like complete experiences or digital films than traditional Minecraft videos — combining technical creativity, cinematics, design, and storytelling into something more connected and intentional.
